Uniform Coating Applied To Specific Areas

Typically specified for functional and cost reasons, nylon coating is only applied to a specific area of the part leaving the remaining surface available for fastening or grounding.  This is a very common process call out in automotive applications.  Slip or sound dampening only where it is necessary.
