Incorporated in 1969,  Fusion Coatings, Inc is considered a pioneer in powder coating applications. Our company was born from ex-Polymer Corp executives, who in the 50's and 60's were at the leading edge of coatings development. Back then as it is today, it was all about industrial application: corrosion resistance, wear resistance, slip, and sound dampening;   Nylon, epoxy, polyester TGIC, and polyethylene, manufactured specifically for direct to metal application.  Automotive clips and clamps, wiring harness brackets, medical clip insulation, seat springs, under body sound dampening, spline coating both transmission and steering, bus bars and more.

The functional coating industry began right here in Reading, PA, and Fusion Coatings grew out of it. Polymer Corp introduced the Corvel electrical-grade epoxies. The same coatings, now made by AkzoNobel in Reading, are still among the busbar epoxies we apply every day. When you send us a part, you’re working with a shop whose roots go back to the start of the industry.
